Rosa Goldberg Cohen
Rosa Goldberg Cohen was born in 1935 into a family of jewelers in Germany and at the age of 5 fled the Holocaust with her parents.
His parents were always passionate about American freedom and decided to take refuge in the United States.
When they arrived, they were faced with a series of difficulties, from starting a life from scratch, learning a new language, to their father’s terminal illness at just 30 years old.
Rosa made the most of her time with her parents, learned the art of goldsmithing from her parents and worked hard until she earned enough money to open her own business.
But it wasn’t easy for a woman in the 80s to open her own store.
With a lot of effort, it was opened to Danarosa. Thus began the great Goldberg family empire.

As the only heir to the Goldbergs, she used her parents’ past knowledge and reinvented fashion in the world of precious stones. It gave life to the accessories created and happiness for those who had the opportunity to own a piece. At the age of 50, when he saw his mother suffer from Alzheimer’s, he promised his children that he would transform the luxury and high-end market, making it accessible to a large part of the American population. What we didn’t know was that this promise would become a mission and a great purpose in life.
Realization of a dream
Already at the age of 88, she still remembered her promise and, in the last weeks of her life, she had defined with her children, Alberto and Gisele, that she would end the Danarosa cycle and leave a legacy to the world, distributing the remaining stock of jewelry to cost price.
Unfortunately, this day arrived and, as planned by her, her dream of making Luxury Items accessible to everyone was put into practice. Therefore, the remaining parts on the official website are being distributed at cost price (see available models).
